DHAKA: Trading on the country’s two bourses is underway showing gain in share-price indices on Wednesday.

The key index of Dhaka Stock Exchange, DSEX, rose over 57 points to stand at 4,439 at 11:55 am.

Trade deals stood at 66,709 with transaction at Tk 2,876 million.

Of the issues traded, 224 advanced, 29 declined and 15 remained unchanged.

BEXIMCO topped the turnover list with shares worth Tk 114 million having changed hands during the time.

Chittagong stocks also followed the suit, with the CSE Selective Categories Index climbing up to 8,669 by gaining over 96 points at 11:48 am.

Out of the issues traded, 143 gained, 29 declined and 18 remained unchanged.
