The capital will experience a cutting-edge shopping extravaganza, 'Bashundhara Bazar Protidin,' as its construction work begins across ten bighas of land in Block N of the Bashundhara Project.
Taking into consideration the needs and demands of the dwellers in the Bashundhara Residential Area, the Bashundhara Group has taken the initiative to build this shopping mall.
The officials concerned (engineering and architecture) of Bashundhara Group initiated the construction work with the first piling. The top management of Bashundhara Group was present during this time.
This super mall, 'Bashundhara Banzar Protidin' is expected to open to the public within the next two years.
The mall will have seven floors, including a basement of four lakh square feet that will house a kitchen market for the convenience of the buyers.
The ground floor will feature household goods shops, household items, a super shop, a grocery shop, a fashion store, a daily essentials store, a pharmacy, a gift shop, a salon and beauty parlor, a laundry, bakeries, and other outlets.
On the first and second floors, there will be shops for clothing, tailoring, lifestyle products, signature shops and a separate supermarket. The fourth floor will host jewelry shops, leather goods, footwear, accessories, and watch stores.
The 4th floor will offer electronics and electronic appliances like TVs, computers, refrigerators, air conditioners, and mobile phones.
The 5th floor will have an indoor food court, a kids' play zone, and a daycare center for parents to shop comfortably while leaving their children at the daycare.
The sixth floor, also known as the top floor, will have an open terrace food court and an observation tower. Additionally, each floor will have photo booths for capturing memories, along with tea, coffee, ice cream, and juice shops.
This shopping mall will also feature self-service machines for meat and fish processing, as well as vegetable cleaning, ensuring food safety, a first of its kind in the country. It will also have multi-level automated parking facilities.
The entire mall will be equipped with round-the-clock security arrangements. There will be a provision for open spaces both on the first floor and outside the mall for the promotion of any product.
