The Bangladesh Jeweller's Association (Bajus) on Saturday (September 30) announced a reduction in gold prices by Tk1,749 per bhori.
The price of gold has been slightly reduced in the country's market, according to a press release by Bangladesh Jeweller’s Association (BAJUS) today.
The price of best quality gold has been reduced by Tk 1,749. In this, the buyer has to pay Tk 98,211 a bhori of 22-carat gold (11.664 grams).
The new prices will be effective from tomorrow (Sunday), BAJUS confirmed.
The price of gold, the precious metal used mainly for ornaments, has been fluctuating for over a year.
