Annual art competition by KBCCI & PUAC

The Korea-Bangladesh Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KBCCI), in collaboration with the Peaceful Unification Advisory Council (PUAC), successfully organized the Annual Art Competition on Saturday (November 16), at Gulshan Club, Dhaka from 10am to 1pm.

Like every year, the event brought together a large number of enthusiastic Korean and Bangladeshi students in a celebration of creativity and cultural exchange, showcasing their talent and artistic skills. The competition was graced by the presence of H.E. Mr. Park Young-sik, Honorable Ambassador of the Republic of Korea to Bangladesh, who praised the initiative and extended his heartfelt gratitude to KBCCI and PUAC for organizing such a fruitful and cultural collaboration between the two communities.

Mr. Shahab Uddin Khan, President of KBCCI, Mr. Hyun Eui SONG, President of PUAC, Mr. Samsoo Kim, Head of KOTRA, Mr. Lee Namsoo, Second Secretary of the Korean Embassy and Mr. Edward Kim, Director of KBCCI were also present.

The two themes for the competition were Dokdo Island of Korea for Group A: A small but meaningful island, symbolizing Korean pride and heritage. Another one was the Peaceful Unification of Korea for Group B: An ongoing vision to unite North and South Korea, promoting peace and collaboration in the region. Honorable judges, the Professors from the Fine Arts Department of Dhaka University selected the top ten winners, acknowledging the remarkable talent displayed by all participants.

Besides the first, second and third prizes, all participants received certificates as well as gift hampers from Fresh (MGI) as a token of inspiration and motivation towards the young and brilliant artists. 

The KBCCI and PUAC extended their heartfelt gratitude to all participants, teachers, parents and guests for making the event a resounding success.
