DHAKA: Trading on the country’s two bourses is underway showing gain in share-price indices on Monday.

DSEX, the key index of Dhaka Stock Exchange, rose over 19 points to stand at 4,869 at 1:09 pm.

Trade deals stood at 46226 with transaction at Tk 1494 million.

Of the issues traded, 147 advanced, 108 declined and 44 remained unchanged.

LAFSURCEML topped the turnover list with shares worth Tk 111 million having changed hands during the time.

Chittagong stocks also followed the suit, with the CSE Selective Categories Index climbing up to 9,109 by gaining over 14 points at 1:09pm.

Out of the issues traded, 108 gained, 96 declined and 26 remained unchanged.
