DHAKA: Trading on the country’s two bourses is underway with downward trend of share-price indices on Sunday.

DSEX, the prime Dhaka Stock Exchange, shed over 33 points to stand at 4,790 at 1:18pm.

Trade deals stood at 29010 with volume of transactions at Tk 489 million.

Of the issues traded, 45 advanced, 232 declined and 21 remained unchanged.
   
LAFSURCEML topped the turnover list with shares worth Tk 58 million having changed hands.

Following the suit, the Chittagong Stock Exchange Selective Categories Index (CSCX) climbed down to 8930 by dropping over 89 points at about 1:19pm.

Out of the issues traded, 30 gained, 164 declined and 26 remained unchanged.
