DHAKA: Bashundhara Cement, a sister concern of country’s largest conglomerate Bashundhara Group, organized a seminar in city’s Tejgaon area on Monday.

The seminar on ‘durable roads and highways for Bangladesh’ was organized by Roads and Highways Engineers Association started at 11:00am at Conference Room of Chief Engineer of Roads and Highways Department.

Chief Engineer of Roads and Highways Department Feroz Iqbal was present as chief guest at the seminar while the department’s executive engineer Santosh Kumar Roy presented keynote.

Roads and Highways Engineers’ Association President Aftab Hossain Khan chaired the seminar.

Bashundhara Cement Assistant General Manager Saroj Kumar Barua explained several aspects and technological opportunities of Bashundhara Cement.

The association general secretary engineer M Amanullah delivered welcome speech at the seminar.
