DHAKA: Trading on the country’s two bourses is underway showing gain in share-price indices on Thursday.

DSEX, the prime index of Dhaka Stock Exchange, rose over 11 points to stand at 4494 at 2:04 pm.

Trade deals stood at 58538 with transaction at Tk 1704 million.

Of the issues traded, 168 advanced, 82 declined and 55 remained unchanged.

CNATEX topped the turnover list with shares worth Tk 104 million having changed hands during the time.

Chittagong stocks also followed the suit, with the CSE Selective Categories Index climbing up to 8,915 by gaining over 29 points at 2:01pm.

Out of the issues traded, 124 gained, 60 declined and 32 remained unchanged.
