DHAKA: Trading on the country’s two bourses is underway with downward trend of share-price indices on Thursday.

DSEX, the Broad Index of Dhaka Stock Exchange, shed over nine points to stand at 4,658 at 1:07pm.

Trade deals stood at 74,299 with volume of transactions at Tk 1,599 million.

Of the issues traded, 87 advanced, 168 declined and 44 remained unchanged.

IFADAUTOS topped the turnover list with shares worth Tk 613 million having changed hands.

Following the suit, the Chittagong Stock Exchange Selective Categories Index (CSCX) climbed down to 8655 by dropping over 23 points at about 1:04pm.

Out of the issues traded, 57 gained, 103 declined and 26 remained unchanged.
