DHAKA: Investors witnessed slight gain in the benchmark indices of the country’s bourses on Thursday.

DSEX, the prime index of Dhaka Stock Exchange, rose over 16 points to stand at 4685 at the close on the last trading day of the week.

Trade deals stood at 109,005 with transaction at Tk 2,614 million. Of the issues traded, 155 advanced, 104 declined and 47 remained unchanged.

IFADAUTOS topped the turnover list with shares worth Tk 740 million having changed hands.

The other turnover leaders were GP, MJLBD, SAPORTL, ACI, LAFSURCEML, CNATEX, ACIFORMULA, SQURPHARMA and FUWANGFOOD.
 
Chittagong stocks also followed the suit, with the CSE Selective Categories Index climbing up to 8707 by gaining over 28 points.
 
Out of the issues traded, 107 gained, 87 declined and 33 remained unchanged.
