DHAKA: Investors witnessed gain in the benchmark indices of the country’s bourses on Sunday.

DSEX, the prime index of Dhaka Stock Exchange, rose over 16 points to stand at 4701 at the close on the first trading day of the week.

Trade deals stood at 73,107 with transaction at Tk 2,210 million. Of the issues traded, 155 advanced, 102 declined and 52 remained unchanged.

IFADAUTOS topped the turnover list with shares worth Tk 146 million having changed hands.

The other turnover leaders were LAFSURCEML, GP, MJLBD, ACI, SAPORTL, NBL, CNATEX, AAMRATECH and AGNISYSL.
 
Chittagong stocks also followed the suit, with the CSE Selective Categories Index climbing up to 11,773 by gaining over 59 points.
 
Out of the issues traded, 119 gained, 81 declined and 31 remained unchanged.
