DHAKA: The Executive Committee of National Economic Council (ECNEC) approved six projects worth Tk 1,347 crore on Tuesday.

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina chaired the meeting at NEC Conference Room at Planning Commission in city’s Sher-e-Bangla Nagar.

The government will provide total expenditure of the six projects including five new ones.

Planning minister AHM Mustafa Kamal informed the media after the meeting.

Finance minister AMA Muhith, commerce minister Tofail Ahmed, industries minister Amir Hossain Amu, agriculture minister Motia Chowdhury, shipping minister Shahjahan Khan, road transport and bridges minister Obaidul Quader, and expatriates’ welfare and overseas employment minister Engineer Khandker Mosharraf Hossain were, among others, present in the meeting.
