DHAKA: Trading on the country’s two bourses witnessed gain in share-price indices on Thursday.

DSEX, the prime index of Dhaka Stock Exchange, rose over 31.18 points to stand at 4841.72.

Trade deals stood at 96370 with transaction at Tk 3259.8 million.

Of the issues traded, 219 advanced, 57 declined and 32 remained unchanged.

AAMRATECH topped the turnover list with shares worth Tk 140.48 million having changed hands.

The other top turnover leaders are BEXIMCO, IFADAUTOS, GP, MJLBD, BXPHARMA, BSCCL, CVOPRL, FUWANGFOOD and BEDL

Chittagong stocks also followed the suit, with the CSE Selective Categories Index climbing up to 8979.16 by gaining over 55.02 points.

Out of the issues traded, 177 gained, 42 declined and 25 remained unchanged.
