DHAKA: Share price index at the country’s both bourses witnessed negative trend in early hours of trading on Monday, the second trading day of the week.

DSEX, the broad index of Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE), went down 11.34 points or 0.23 percent to reach 4819.83 at 11:19 am.

Trade deals stood at 18226 with transaction at Tk 524.26 million.

Of the issues traded till then, 98 gained, 129 declined and 39 remained unchanged.

BEXIMCO topped the turnover list with shares worth Tk 26.27 million having changed hands during the time.

CSCX, the key index of Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE), shed over 12.84 points to stand at 8954.20 also at 11:22 am.

Of the issues traded till then, 53 gained, 72 declined and 20 remained unchanged.
