DHAKA: Trading on the country’s two bourses is underway showing gain in share-price indices on Monday.

DSEX, the benchmark index of Dhaka Stock Exchange, rose over 25 points to stand at 4,827 at 11:41 am.

Trade deals stood at 26717 with transaction at Tk 982 million.

Of the issues traded, 133 advanced, 86 declined and 53 remained unchanged.

UCBL topped the turnover list with shares worth Tk 66 million having changed hands during the time.

Chittagong stocks also followed the suit, with the CSE Selective Categories Index climbing up to 8967 by gaining over 35 points at 11:53am.

Out of the issues traded, 84 gained, 37 declined and 35 remained unchanged.
