DHAKA: Election of the Federation of Bangladesh Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FBCCI) 2015-2017 will be held on May 23.

However, the election for president, first vice-president and vice-president will be held on May 25.

The decision came from an election board meeting on Tuesday.

Election board chairman Ali Ashraf MP presided over the meeting attended by board members Shamsul Alam and KM Manjurul Haque Lavlu.

The primary voter list will be published on March 30 and the final voter list on April 9. The last date for submitting the nominations for the posts of directors is set for April 19.

FBCCI general secretary Mir Shahabuddin Mohammad issued a press release in this regard.

As per the schedule, the last date for paying the due subscription fee is March 24 while the last date for submission of nomination for general members is set for March 25.
