DHAKA: Trading on the country’s two bourses--Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) and Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE)--is underway showing mixed in share-price indices on Monday.

DSEX, the broad index of DSE, rose over three points to stand at 4742 at 12:48 pm.

Trade deals stood at 44490 with transaction at Tk 1625 million.

Of the issues traded, 84 advanced, 159 declined and 51 remained unchanged.

SIBL topped the turnover list with shares worth Tk 118 million having changed hands during the time.

Chittagong stocks also followed the suit, with the CSE Selective Categories Index climbing down to 8,849 by dropping over one point at 12:45pm.

Out of the issues traded, 67 gained, 89 declined and 33 remained unchanged.
