DHAKA: Share price indices at the country’s both bourses -- Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) and Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) – witnessed positive trend in early hours of trading on Wednesday, the fourth trading day of the week.

DSEX, the benchmark index of DSE, gained 8.96 points or 0.19 percent to reach 4704.76 at 11:00 am.

Trade deals stood at 9202 with transaction at Tk 361.33 million.

Of the issues traded till then, 115 gained, 51 declined and 39 remained unchanged.

SPCL topped the turnover list with shares worth Tk 49.54 million having changed hands during the time.

The CSE key index, CSCX gained 18.82 points to stand at 8740.71, also at 11:05 am.

Of the issues traded till then, 49 gained, 24 declined and 20 remained unchanged.
