DHAKA: Trading on the country’s two bourses--Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) and Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) is underway with downward trend of share-price indices on Sunday.

DSEX, the Broad Index of DSE, shed over 45.38 points to stand at 4,619 at 12:45pm.

Trade deals stood at 44,695 with volume of transactions at Tk 1123.55 million.

Of the issues traded, 62 advanced, 169 declined and 45 remained unchanged.

LAFSURCEML topped the turnover list with shares worth Tk 88.15 million having changed hands.

Following the suit, the Chittagong Stock Exchange Selective Categories Index (CSCX) climbed down to 8626.87 by dropping over 40.00 points at about 12:45pm.

Out of the issues traded, 53 gained, 103 declined and 22 remained unchanged.
