DHAKA: Commerce minister Tofail Ahmed is set to attend the two-day G-7 stakeholder conference to be held in Berlin from March 10.

Commerce ministry public relations officer Abdul Latif Bakshi said that the minister is going to Berlin at invitations of German federal ministry for labor and welfare and German federal minister for economic cooperation and development.

Bangladesh minister hoped that the conference will strengthen the exiting cooperation among the participating countries.

However, representatives from France, Italy, Japan, Canada, the US, the UK and the EU will attend the meeting.

According to the PRO, the commerce minister will uphold the recent economic development to the conference.
