DHAKA: Trading on the country’s two bourses --Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) and Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) --is underway showing positive trend in share-price indices on Thursday.

DSEX, the Broad Index of DSE, rose over 30.06 points to stand at 4472.88 at 12:41 pm.

Trade deals stood at 27,279 with transaction at Tk 882.67 million. Of the issues traded, 170 advanced, 61 declined and 46 remained unchanged.

LAFSURCEML topped the turnover list with shares worth Tk 73.38 million having changed hands during the time.

Besides, Chittagong stocks’ Selective Categories Index climbed up to 8296.70 by gaining over 41.47 points at 12:41 pm.

Out of the issues traded, 114 gained, 37 declined and 22 remained unchanged.
