DHAKA: Trading on the country’s two bourses--Dhaka Stock Exchange and Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) -- is underway with downward trend of share-price indices on Thursday.

DSEX, the Broad Index of DSE, shed over 37.27 points to stand at 4474.83 at 12:47pm.

Trade deals stood at 38562 with volume of transactions at Tk 1455.97 million.

Of the issues traded, 45 advanced, 189 declined and 57 remained unchanged.

GP topped the turnover list with shares worth Tk 120.92 million having changed hands.

Following the suit, the Chittagong Stock Exchange Selective Categories Index (CSCX) climbed down to 8350.55 by dropping over 54.95 points at about 12:35pm.

Out of the issues traded, 35 gained, 117 declined and 23 remained unchanged.
