DHAKA: Trading on the country’s two bourses -- Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) and Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) -- is underway showing gain in share-price indices on Thursday.

DSEX, the Broad Index of DSE, rose over 36.36 points to stand at 4126.25 at 12:24 pm.

Trade deals stood at 60053 with transaction at Tk 2203.13 million.

Of the issues traded, 194 advanced, 75 declined and 24 remained unchanged.
   
UPGDCL topped the turnover list with shares worth Tk 242.74 million having changed hands during the time.

Chittagong stocks also followed the suit, with the CSE Selective Categories Index climbing up to 7717.16 by gaining over 56.52 points at 12:22pm.

Out of the issues traded, 120 gained, 42 declined and 21 remained unchanged.
