DHAKA: Country's stock market marked gain in its price indices on Thursday.

DSEX, the Broad Index of Dhaka Stock Exchange, rose over 25.20 points only to stand at 4468.02 at the close on the last trading day of the week.

Trade deals stood at 52143 with volume of transactions at Tk 1666.14 million.

Of the issues traded, 178 advanced, 95 declined and 33 remained unchanged.

LAFSURCEML topped the turnover list with shares worth Tk 96.88 million having changed hands.

The other turnover leaders were GP, IFADAUTOS, SPCL, ACI, SQURPHARMA, BEXIMCO, SHASHADNIM, SAPORTL and ONEBANKLTD.

Chittagong stocks also followed the suit, with the CSE Selective Categories Index climbing up to 8294.05 by gaining over 38.83 points.
 
Out of the issues traded, 132 gained, 53 declined and 28 remained unchanged.
