DHAKA: Trading on the country’s two bourses--Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) and Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE)--is underway showing gain in share-price indices on Sunday.

DSEX, the key index of DSE, rose over 45.30 points to stand at 4513.32 at 12:04 pm.

Trade deals stood at 33,036 with transaction at Tk 1140.28 million.

Of the issues traded, 175 advanced, 71 declined and 39 remained unchanged.

LAFSURCEML topped the turnover list with shares worth Tk 120.83 million having changed hands during the time.

Chittagong stocks also followed the suit, with the CSE Selective Categories Index climbing up to 8346.19 by gaining over 46.10 points at 12:13am.

Out of the issues traded, 104 gained, 38 declined and 29 remained unchanged.
