DHAKA: Country's stock market marked fall in its price indices on Monday, the second trading day of the week.

DSEX, the Broad Index of Dhaka Stock Exchange, shed over 33.85 points only to stand at 4397.25 at the close of day’s trading.

Trade deals stood at 104769 with volume of transactions at Tk 3050.71 million.

Of the issues traded, 56 advanced, 218 declined and 36 remained unchanged.

UPGDCL topped the turnover list with shares worth Tk 288.27 million having changed hands.

The other turnover leaders were LAFSURCEML, SHASHADNIM, IFADAUTOS, ACI, MJLBD, SQURPHARMA, GP, KPCL and PHARMAID.

Chittagong stocks also followed the suit, with the CSE Selective Categories Index climbing down to 8177.58 by dropping over 78.66 points.
 
Out of the issues traded, 36 gained, 179 declined and 24 remained unchanged.
