DHAKA: Country's stock market marked fall in its price indices on Wednesday, the fourth trading day of the week.

The key index of Dhaka Stock Exchange, DSEX, shed over 30.30 points only to stand at 4252.94 at the close of day’s trading.

Trade deals stood at 126353 with volume of transactions at Tk 5255.84 million.

Of the issues traded, 92 advanced, 187 declined and 30 remained unchanged.

UPGDCL topped the turnover list with shares worth Tk 623.17 million having changed hands.

The other turnover leaders were KPCL, WMSHIPYARD,     ACI, SAIFPOWER, SHASHADNIM, MJLBD, SAPORTL, IFADAUTOS     and BARKAPOWER.

Chittagong stocks also followed the suit, with the CSE Selective Categories Index climbing down to 7957.16 by dropping over 96.21 points.
 
Out of the issues traded, 70 gained, 146 declined and 22 remained unchanged.
