DHAKA: Trading on the country’s two bourses--Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) and Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) -- is underway showing gain in share-price indices on Thursday.

DSEX, the Broad Index of DSE, rose over 0.45 points to stand at 4343.12 after the first two-hour of trade at 12:30 pm.

Trade deals stood at 80988 with transaction at Tk 3752.82 million.

Of the issues traded, 126 advanced, 136 declined and 24 remained unchanged.

ACIFORMULA topped the turnover list with shares worth Tk 373.45 million having changed hands during the time.

Chittagong stocks also followed the suit, with the CSE Selective Categories Index climbing up to 8191.85 by gaining over 13.80 points at 12:26 am.

Out of the issues traded, 93 gained, 87 declined and 14 remained unchanged.
