DHAKA: Country's stock market marked fall in its price indices on Thursday, the last trading day of the week.

DSEX, the Broad Index of Dhaka Stock Exchange, shed over 27.77 points only to stand at 4314.88 at the close of day’s trading.

Trade deals stood at 153699 with volume of transactions at Tk 6693.91 million.

Of the issues traded, 105 advanced, 179 declined and 25 remained unchanged.

UPGDCL topped the turnover list with shares worth Tk 547.16 million having changed hands.

The other turnover leaders were ACIFORMULA, WMSHIPYARD, KPCL, ACI, BEXIMCO, MJLBD, IFADAUTOS, BARKAPOWER and BSCCL.

Chittagong stocks also followed the suit, with the CSE Selective Categories Index climbing down to 8133.10 by dropping over 44.95 points.
 
Out of the issues traded, 81 gained, 139 declined and 17 remained unchanged.
