DHAKA: Trading on the country’s two bourses -- Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) and Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) -- is underway showing gain in share-price indices on Tuesday.

DSEX, the key index of DSE, rose over 73.38 points to stand at 4480.81 at 11:38 am.

Trade deals stood at 62474 with transaction at Tk 2986.96 million.

Of the issues traded, 234 advanced, 31 declined and 21 remained unchanged.

BSCCL topped the turnover list with shares worth Tk 140.37 million having changed hands during the time.

Chittagong stocks also followed the suit, with the CSE Selective Categories Index climbing up to 8435.40 by gaining over 131.01 points at 11:37am.

Out of the issues traded, 145 gained, 23 declined and nine remained unchanged.
