DHAKA: Country's stock market marked fall in its price indices on Thursday.

DSEX, the key index of Dhaka Stock Exchange, shed over 26.18 points only to stand at 4481.75 at the close on the last trading day of the week.

Trade deals stood at 165978 with volume of transactions at Tk 7536.16 million.

Of the issues traded, 160 advanced, 125 declined and 21 remained unchanged.

However, top 10 gainers of the DSE were HAKKANIPUL, ATLASBANG, HRTEX, MAKSONSPIN, DELTASPINN, FAMILYTEX, LEGACYFOOT, GHCL, PTL, and METROSPIN.

However, UPGDCL topped the turnover list with shares worth Tk 536.545 million having changed hands.

The other turnover leaders were KPCL, MJLBD, RAKCERAMIC, BSCCL, UNITEDAIR, FARCHEM, BARKAPOWER, UNIQUEHRL, and ACIFORMULA.



Chittagong stocks also followed the suit, with the CSE Selective Categories Index climbing down to 8449.2415 by dropping over 38.81 points.

Out of the issues traded, 122 gained, 101 declined and 16 remained unchanged.
