DHAKA: Trading on the country’s two bourses – Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) and Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) – is underway showing gain in share-price indices on Tuesday.

DSEX, the key index of DSE, rose over 44.71 points to stand at 4659.73 at 12:55pm.

Trade deals stood at 109118 with transaction at Tk 5257.66 million.

Of the issues traded, 172 advanced, 102 declined and 30 remained unchanged.

Khulna Power Company Limited (KPCL) topped the turnover list with shares worth Tk 339.05 million having changed hands during the time.

Chittagong stocks also followed the suit, with the CSE Selective Categories Index climbing up to 8791.08 by gaining over 130.80 points at 12:55pm.

Out of the issues traded, 155 gained, 49 declined and 22 remained unchanged.
