DHAKA: Trading on the country’s two bourses --Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) and, Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE), is underway showing gain in share-price indices on Wednesday.

DSEX, the Broad index of DSE, rose over 0.62 points to stand at 4627.79 at 1:17 pm.

Trade deals stood at 113381 with transaction at Tk 5589.21 million.

Of the issues traded, 76 advanced, 201 declined and 26 remained unchanged.

KPCL topped the turnover list with shares worth Tk 469.63 million having changed hands during the time.

Chittagong stocks also followed the suit, with the CSE Selective Categories Index climbing up to 8738.74by gaining over 26.01 points at 12:57am.

Out of the issues traded, 67 gained, 111 declined and 28 remained unchanged.
