Bangladesh Fashion Carnival begins Jun 3

DHAKA: A five-day international exhibition of branded clothing and fashion products will begin on June 3 at Emmanuelle’s Banquet Hall in city Gulshan-1 area.

More than 45 companies from home and abroad are participating in this exhibition titled ‘4th Bangladesh Fashion Carnival 2015’, will continue till June 7.

Redcarpet Ltd & Freelancerz, an event management firm, is organizing the event with the theme ‘Do Your Eid Shopping with Us.’

Ahmed Imtiaz, from the organizer said ‘We’re expecting a good number of visitors from entire South Asia in the fashion carnival’.

The exhibition was targeted to huge Eid-ul-Fitr shopping, he added.

Referring to the most important features of the carnival, he added - it would create an opportunity for both local and foreign participants to display their latest development and quality of products before potential buyers, resulting in business transactions worth millions.

He also said this exhibition will encourage local manufacturers and producers to export their goods in foreign markets, giving a big boost to the country’s export earnings.

A big range of quality products will be put on display in the fashion carnival, he added. The products include clothing (women), fashion wear, home textile, knitwear, Kurtas, Original Lawns, premium clothing, salwar-kameez, 3-pieces, shawls, sherwanis, beauty aids, beauty products and equipment, fashion house, gift and novelty items, leather and leather products and other services.

GulAhmed is the Global Brand of this expo, with their exclusive collection of Original Lawn.

This Expo will be open for General & Trade Visitors from 10.00am to 9.30pm everyday.
