DHAKA: Trading on the country’s two bourses -- Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) and Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) -- is underway with downward trend of share-price indices on Thursday.

DSEX, the Broad Index of DSE, shed over 16.47 points to stand at 4510.94 at 12:06pm.

Trade deals stood at 45911 with volume of transactions at Tk 1678.68 million.

Of the issues traded, 93 advanced, 142 declined and 49 remained unchanged.

UNITEDAIR topped the turnover list with shares worth Tk 151 million having changed hands.

Following the suit, the Chittagong Stock Exchange Selective Categories Index (CSCX) climbed down to 8442.04 by dropping over 26.94 points at about 12:04pm.

Out of the issues traded, 61 gained, 102 declined and 15 remained unchanged.
