DHAKA: Ahead of Eid-ul-Fitr, month-long handloom textile fair kicked off in Agargaon area of the capital on Friday. 

State minister for Home Affairs Ministry Asaduzzaman Khan inaugurated the fair at noon.

President of the fair Tarique Hasan Kajol, Director Ishak Miah and leaders of Bangladesh Chhatra League, Juba League, Swechchasebok League and Sramik League were present at the program.

After inaugurating program, the state minister visited the stalls in the exposition.

Of allotted 60 stalls, construction work of the most of the stalls is completed yet.
