DHAKA: Trading on the country’s two bourses -- Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) and Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) -- is underway showing gain in share-price indices on Monday.

DSEX, the Broad Index of DSE, rose over 11.34 points to stand at 4513.56 at 11:28 am.

Trade deals stood at 32445 with transaction at Tk 1239.03 million.

Of the issues traded, 138 advanced, 91 declined and 54 remained unchanged.

OAL topped the turnover list with shares worth Tk 199.23 million changing hands till then followed by SQURPHARMA, BXPHARMA, AFCAGRO, LAFSURCEML and SAPORTL.

Chittagong stocks also followed the suit, with the CSE Selective Categories Index climbing up to 8441.77 by gaining over 25.87 points at 11:33am.

Out of the issues traded, 96 gained, 52 declined and 46 remained unchanged.
