DHAKA: The government has asked all factories including garments to pay salaries by July 10 and bonuses by July 14 to the workers ahead of Eid-ul-Fitr.

The decision was taken at a meeting with garments owners and workers at secretariat on Thursday.

However, the exact date or duration of Eid holidays was not fixed in the meeting as authorities will fix it later so that all RMG garment factories will not remain closed at a time.
