DHAKA: Airtel Bangladesh Limited, the fastest growing telecom operator of the country, received the Asia Communication Awards (ACA) 2015 in ‘Customer Experience Initiative’ category at a gala award ceremony in Singapore.
The Asia Communication Awards recognize outstanding performance and innovation from the leading carriers, service providers and vendors that are based in Asia and provide products and services for this region in telecommunication sector.
ACA had 16 categories and many renowned telecommunication companies applied for the award including Singtel, NTT Communications, StarHub, Huawei, Pacenet etc.
The award ceremony was highly competitive as almost 5,000 telecom professionals entered or voted for the categories, said a press release on Saturday.

According to the release, Online Airtel Experience Center is a virtual 3D interactive customer service portal on the net where customers get exact services that they would have gotten from a physical experience center.
