DHAKA: Trading on the country’s two bourses -- Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) and Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) -- is underway showing gain in share-price indices on Wednesday.

DSEX, the Broad Index of DSE, rose over 24.13 points to stand at 4589.38 at 11:19 am.

Trade deals stood at 31381 with transaction at Tk 1359.11 million.

Of the issues traded, 166 advanced, 66 declined and 49 remained unchanged.

BXPHARMA topped the turnover list with shares worth Tk 125.22 million having changed hands during the time.

Chittagong stocks also followed the suit, with the CSE Selective Categories Index climbing up to 8592.71 by gaining over 45.34 points at 11:22am.

Out of the issues traded, 99 gained, 34 declined and 24 remained unchanged.
