DHAKA: Country's stock market marked gain in its price indices on Wednesday, the fourth trading day of the week.

DSEX, the key index of Dhaka Stock Exchange, rose over 14.48 points only to stand at 4579.72 at the close of day’s trading.

Trade deals stood at 117900 with volume of transactions at Tk 4945.21 million.

Of the issues traded, 163 advanced, 118 declined and 37 remained unchanged.

GP topped the turnover list with shares worth Tk 208.46 million having changed hands.

The other turnover leaders were BXPHARMA, BEXIMCO, ACI, IFADAUTOS, UNITEDAIR, APOLOISPAT, OAL, SQURPHARMA and LAFSURCEML.

Chittagong stocks also followed the suit, with the CSE Selective Categories Index climbing down to 8594.83 by dropping over 47.46 points.
 
Out of the issues traded, 124 gained, 85 declined and 42 remained unchanged.
