DHAKA: Biman Bangladesh Airlines reduced its fare in all domestic routes from Tk 200 to 500 before the Eid-al-fitr festival.

Besides, the national carrier also introduced ‘special-additional’ flights from Dhaka to Jessore, Rajshahi and Syedpur from July 15 to tackle the pressure of home-bound people.

A press release, signed by general manager of Biman’s public relations department Khan Mosharraf Hossain, was issued in this regard.

The release said the reduced fare would continue till July 31.

It also said the flag carrier reduced upto Tk 1,000 to come to Dhaka from any part of the country.

Besides, passengers can travel from Sylhet to Dhaka on Saturday costing Tk 2,000 including taxes on BG-607 that comes from London while Tk 2,500 including taxes on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday on BG-605.
