DHAKA : Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina said that Investment Board of Bangladesh (IBB) and Privatization Commission (PC) will be merged in the near future.

The PM made this disclosure at a view exchange program with the officials at Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) in city on Tuesday.

The premier said, ‘We will merge Investment Board and Privatization Commission into a lone organization in near future. Paper works have almost done. Now, we are waiting for the merger’.

According to her, this unification will help boost both investment and industrialization.

‘We also want to reinvest our resources in the country,’ the PM added.
