DHAKA: Finance minister Abul Maal Abdul Muhith sought cooperation of deputy commissioners (DCs) in implementing national budget of 2015-16 fiscal year.

The minister came up with this assertion in a meeting with DCs at secretariat in city during the ongoing 3-day conference started from Tuesday.

He also urged the DCs to remain alert to fulfill the target of revenue collection mentioned in the budget.

Earlier on Tuesday morning around 10:00am, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina inaugurated the conference in Prime Minister’s Office (PMO).

The other sessions started around 5:00pm at secretariat.
