DHAKA: Trading on the country’s two bourses --Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) and Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) -- is underway showing gain in share-price indices on Thursday.

The key index of Dhaka Stock Exchange, DSEX, rose over 1.95 points to stand at 4799.12 at 11:57 am.

Trade deals stood at 51543 with transaction at Tk 2334.93 million.

Of the issues traded, 154 advanced, 99 declined and 41 remained unchanged.

BXPHARMA topped the turnover list with shares worth Tk 169.28  million having changed hands during the time.

Chittagong stocks also followed the suit, with the CSE Selective Categories Index climbing up to 8977.49 by gaining over 15.10 points at 11:54am.

Out of the issues traded, 94 gained, 72 declined and 32 remained unchanged.
