DHAKA: Trading on the country’s two bourses -- Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) and Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) -- is underway showing gain in share-price indices on Monday.

DSEX, the Broad Index of DSE, rose over 36.05 points to stand at 4838.07 at 11:26 am.

Trade deals stood at 43298 with transaction at Tk 2207.91 million.

Of the issues traded, 171 advanced, 77 declined and 48 remained unchanged.

APOLOISPAT topped the turnover list with shares worth Tk 161.51 million having changed hands during the time.

Chittagong stocks also followed the suit, with the CSE Selective Categories Index climbing up to 9045.51 by gaining over 67.51 points at 1:24am.

Out of the issues traded, 100 gained, 43 declined and 24 remained unchanged.
