DHAKA: Country's stock market marked slight gain in its price indices on Wednesday, the fourth trading day of the week.

DSEX, the key index of Dhaka Stock Exchange, rose over 2.14 points only to stand at 4873.96 at the close of day’s trading. 

Trade deals stood at 175052 with volume of transactions at Tk 9023.74 million.

Of the issues traded, 142 advanced, 148 declined and 31 remained unchanged.



UPGDCL topped the turnover list with shares worth Tk 1,049.60 million having changed hands.

The other turnover leaders were ISLAMIBANK, SQURPHARMA, LAFSURCEML, ACI, UNITEDAIR, BEXIMCO, BSRMLTD, APOLOISPAT and BXPHARMA.

Chittagong stocks also followed the suit, with the CSE Selective Categories Index climbing up to 9096.40 by gaining over 3.96 points.
 
Out of the issues traded, 102 gained, 134 declined and 27 remained unchanged.
