DHAKA: AS per directives of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina all government tenders are set to be published on online.

The directions, which the premier made at the second meeting of Bangladesh Task Force at the PMO, will be implemented by next six months.

Bangladesh Association of Software and Information Services (BASIS) will help the government develop the technical processes of e-tendering.

Officials and delegates of the ministry, directorate and organizations related to the Task Force, FBCCI, Bangladesh Computer Samity (BCS) and BASIS attended the meeting.

Task Force member Shamim Ahsan, also BASIS president, said the premier made the directives to publish government tenders on online.

He also said BASIS will assist the government in this regard.
