DHAKA: Country's stock market marked gain in its price indices on Thursday, the last trading day of the week.

DSEX, the key index of Dhaka Stock Exchange, rose over 23.18 points only to stand at 4840.15 at the close of day’s trading.

Trade deals stood at 128887 with volume of transactions at Tk 5969.68 million.

Of the issues traded, 156 advanced, 116 declined and 46 remained unchanged.



LAFSURCEML topped the turnover list with shares worth Tk 321.05 million having changed hands.

The other turnover leaders were SQURPHARMA, SPCL, BBS, ISLAMIBANK, CNATEX, RSRMSTEEL, SAIFPOWE, UPGDCL and APEXTANRY.

Chittagong stocks also followed the suit, with the CSE Selective Categories Index climbing up to 9027.44 by gaining over 36.37 points.
 
Out of the issues traded, 116 gained, 96 declined and 39 remained unchanged.
