DHAKA: Trading on the country’s two bourses --Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) and Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) is underway showing gain in share-price indices on Sunday.

DSEX, the broad index of DSE, rose over 1.55 points to stand at 4841.71 at 11:46 am.

Trade deals stood at 37496 with transaction at Tk 1682.19 million.

Of the issues traded, 118 advanced, 115 declined and 62 remained unchanged.



SPCL topped the turnover list with shares worth Tk 130.98 million having changed hands during the time.

Chittagong stocks also followed the suit, with the CSE Selective Categories Index climbing up to 9040.36 by gaining over 12.91 points at 11:44am.

Out of the issues traded, 77 gained, 72 declined and 33 remained unchanged.
